One night carnival, fun fun
So, I'm just about done with my Inverloch entry, but I'm facing a conundrum -
I was messing with the background's color balance, and found out that when it's more saturated it's all happy and daytime like! However,
When I desaturated it muchly, it had this totally different feel to it, which I also like - and I can't decide which I like more. What do you think?
The normal version of it just looks...normal. Also, before Monday ends I might do something for the random giant leaves' contrast.
EDIT: I used desaturated. <3 Does pull things together better. Thanks!
Wish me luck! Still a day 'til I know. Argh!!! Make that several days. Gah!

Finishing and starting things, it never ends
So I actually finished this, and I must say, I like it a lot more now. His stripes were going to be a bit less noticable, but it doesn't bug me. Maybe I'll do more experimentation later, when I do a more realistic picture of him.

I just realized I have four days to finish my Inverloch entry, and my alternate gag comic entry, which I ( just did sketches for. )
The series! Summed up as this: Female furmers with Swords. 7 total, rainbow color-themed. I'm sure someone's come up with "furmers" before, but not the way I'm doing this.
Yes. Bizarre. Seven pictures, a mixture of full anthros with half-anthros (still look human). Their mermaid tails are designed after fish that are somewhat close to the animal's design (bird of paradise >>> parrotfish). And different swords, and the rainbow will be muted, not crack-saturated. Backgrounds will be water-related. Maybe strange things will be underwater... like above-water land.
I came up with this to make something I could put insane amounts of detail into each picture. Also, it had to be something I'm sure no one's done exactly. I'd like to get this started now, but still so many unfinished pictures.
EDIT: ARGH. Note to self. Forgot I need to enter the Red Vines Scholarship Contest. It won't be hard, I just can't forget.
