You know that Aslan pic I was working on way long ago?

Well, I finished it yesterday and added it here. It ended up being a whole lot more than I intended - in fact, as it is now, I can't believe I was planning on adding it to the site before (ie bodiless, textless, and without shading - ack, it just lacked drama...oomf...anything). It's an experiment, but it sure could use critique, because I'm interested in shading with lots of black and white and I want to do it well... like Tales of Pylea. Gah!

Looking up building references for MP...woo~

I've found that when I post WIPs in their sketch stages or just-beginning ink stages, I'm much less likely to finish them promptly. Of course, that's when they need the most help. I'm going to start posting stuff at SS again soon (though mostly my finished illustrations - I still don't have that many inspired personal pictures), and maybe that'll get me going. Then again, just browsing is inspiring.

JaNoWriMo begins tomorrow. That means I need to start cracking open books and graphic novels for inspiration, although I'm already pretty pumped to write. I may very well begin at midnight...unless I'm asleep. (Blah.) I get super hyped to randomly pump things out after reading manga, and especially after watching Avatar: The Last Airbender. So random, but so cool.

However, I've got pictures to finish. I'm surprised - I could have done all my contest pictures in 3 days, yet here I am working on the last half at the very last minute. Darn sleep and video games... sucking out my life and will to draw. ;x; I missed posting half the days this month and didn't get much accomplished besides. Shame, shame. It is easier to do things when you have a schedule.
