Ahhh someone help me in how to make this look better without tones. And if it goes along the lines of "thicken the lines", I would like advice on where and how!

I should look at manga for reference on how they do lineart backgrounds, but honestly most manga I own have superrealistic lineart backgrounds that make me wonder AHH HOW. So...HOW?

I bought a 1.5" binder for this year's loose sketches. I wonder if I'll draw more than will fit. I bet.
I asked my Illustration teacher if I could get a 8.5"x11" sketchbook instead of an 11"x14". It'd be a lot more convenient for me, and if so I can start actually drawing in my sketchbook and scan it.

-Oh yeah, start updating Millennium. TOTALLY NEW LAYOUT/SITE DESIGN (I'll probably hate the layout pic by then, too... OH WELL)
-Make small site for To Touch the Sky.
-Start working on Landaluf?
-Get up personal art portfolio website for the love of gosh.
-Draw Avatar fanart! Holy crap! A real series I actually want to do fanart for?
-Megaman X fanart...maybe. For the oldschool!
