heaven or hell - let's rock!
Araqiel
I haven't been feeling too well emotionally the past few days, but drawing this (and watching Borat) cheered me up today.
I figured I should post something since this thing is supposed to be frequently updated. >_> This is a WIP sketch of Araqiel, 1/2 of a commission from Snaga. Some things I want to fix, but it came out surprisingly well (while watching two men wrestle naked, screaming in Russian).
I also pooted out this picture of Ronou for the new layout quicker than all the combined time spent on about 4 other sketches I did for it, and it looks better than all of them. I...I think he just got girlier, or bishier. Much as I like it, that...aaahh.

I find that I must spend a lot of my day not really doing anything, because come midnight I still haven't done most of what I'd like to. I don't get it. I'm slow at most things, yes... but I have no classes (and thus nothing to do) all week! Maybe I'm still expecting to get so much done in the day. Pretty sure I didn't used to do that.

I have an arseload of LF sketches in my most recent sketchbook (turns out that 11x14 is a lot better than 6x9, contrary to my former thought!) but no way to scan them at home. I'll have to scan them somewhere else... Some of them I like/need to use for the layout.

Coming soon: Midna fanart?! (If you've played Twilight Princess, it's inevitable.)

Rollin' (another BTE song)

Finished another commission. Fun when commissions are of my own charas. :O

Here're a couple of old things I still like looking at:

I had begun this on my oekaki, made a few mistakes (unsaved) and forgot about it, so it deleted itself. I'm thinking of revitalizing my oekaki...not that anyone drew on it, though a looot of random people signed up. Anyway, for what it was, I liked it... Need to draw more wolves. (And aardwolves.)

Also, you know what I randomly like looking at? This:

I made this a long time ago, for some reason, and still have it saved. I haven't the slightest clue what I was originally trying to do, though.

I apparently updated Millennium for the first time since November. I'm going to draw more stuff for it now and work on more commissions, because I'm on a roll!

WIP Land

My old sig? Too stiff. Might use it sometimes. But might even replace it with this on all the pics I used it on. That's a lot of pics though, so maybe not. This is drawn in Photoshop, but I need to make a vector version.

more WIPs )

This is a bad time to start feeling like doing all these pictures (see: to-do list's personal pictures). College starts in a few weeks! But maybe I'll actually finish more things then? Mmm, working under pressure.

Random: I think I'm just going to call my novel Grey. It's grown attached to it in my mind. It'd make sense, just...who'd read something called "Grey"? Buh. But I got a cool cover idea, less detailed than the last.

Commission progress and other things )

Also, the sketch of the kitty on the artsite's main page! Photos I was going to post here, but they're on the site so why bother. This too.

Razzy = my bishie. <3

Hey, it's my sketch commission for Snaga (for which she bought me Majesty volume 1 <3). I almost quit on this, but then it started looking as I intended it to.
Grr, body at different angles. Grr.

Random: I'm starting to wonder if I have too much on my artsite - too many art sections, that is. I like art sites that are just 2-3 sections, or even those that plow everything into one. But I tend to overcategorize and subcategorize and such - not that it's so bad on the site, but my hard drive's a good example. SO many directories and subdirectories, it sometimes takes a while to get to things - although I know exactly where everything is should I ever want to find it.

The thing is, the first two sections (Illustration/Design) are the most important, and the only two I really care about anyone looking at (Illustration moreso, which is why it's #1). Although I'm also a fan of the sketch section (which is kind of down there and somewhat empty right now), because personally I love sketches and looking at other people's sketches/WIPs.

I got the colorbars in my sites to work. It seems doctypes DO matter! Who'da thunk?! Also, I understand the validator a little more. Woo!
